Province of Nova Scotia is seeking a Maintenance Planner for the Fleet Services Division of the Department of Public Works in Miller Lake. You will assist the Manager of Fleet Services with planning and day-to-day shop operations, ensuring priorities are met and services are delivered efficiently.

You will coordinate workload, manage maintenance schedules, and liaise with coordinators, supervisors, and mechanics to ensure parts availability and timely service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High School completion plus five years of related work experience in equipment and repair.
• Experience as a truck or heavy equipment mechanic is an asset.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment, truck maintenance and repair practices.
• Proficient computer skills including Word and Excel; familiarity with a computerized work order system.
• Experience with SAP modules (Plant Maintenance, MM, Controlling).
• Experience with job cost estimates for labor and parts.
• Familiar with the Motor Vehicle Act and Preventative Maintenance protocols.
• Adept at creating schedules and coordinating work; SAP S4Hana knowledge is a plus.
