Job summary

Amrize in Nova Scotia is seeking a Maintenance Planner to optimize preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring equipment availability and cost efficiency across the plant. You will coordinate with production, suppliers and inspectors to schedule work, manage parts and oversee third-party services.

The ideal candidate has seven years in heavy industry, strong SAP and Microsoft tools skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in a heavy industry.
• Experience with SAP maintenance systems.
• DEC in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan all work orders by assigning parts, tools, procedures and resources.
• Plan weekly, monthly, yearly and long-term maintenance plans.
• Coordinate with production, inspectors and third parties to support maintenance activities.
• Generate and follow up on purchase requests for materials and inventory.
• Maintain equipment parts catalog and reflect changes in SAP.
• Track maintenance KPIs and control costs to stay within budget.
• Represent maintenance in operational meetings to determine priorities.
