Job summary

Canadian Natural is seeking an Equipment and Light Vehicle Maintenance Planner in Fort McMurray, Alberta. You will develop and optimize maintenance plans for a large equipment and light vehicle fleet, ensuring reliable operations and efficient work execution.

You will coordinate scheduling, manage Maximo and Costar systems, and support budgeting and reporting. The role requires strong planning skills, proficiency with Maximo/Costar, and a track record in fleet maintenance.

Qualifications

• Typically, 5+ years of related industry experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, Maximo and Costar.
• Administration experience would be an asset; familiarity with contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and adjust maintenance plans and schedules for equipment and light vehicles.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and plan outages using project-planning techniques and software.
• Manage the equipment master list and registry changes in Maximo and Costar.
• Administer Maximo and Costar work-order systems and track parts, tools, manpower, and times.
• Support annual maintenance budget preparation and monitor cost variances.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and attend planning meetings.
• Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders and track loaned equipment.
