Job summary

Viking Fire Protection Inc. is seeking a Fire Alarm Technical Sales Representative at our Vaughan, Ontario branch.

You will review inspection reports, prepare repair quotations, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure accurate, timely quotes and scheduling. Success factors include a college diploma in fire protection or related field, 3+ years in fire protection, knowledge of codes, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

College diploma or equivalent experience in fire protection or related field.
3+ years of relevant experience in fire protection or prevention.
Knowledge of standards and codes governing fire protection and alarm systems.
Experience with fire protection products and systems.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Review inspection reports and prepare accurate repair quotations.
Follow up with customers on outstanding deficiencies and recommended actions.
Explain deficiencies, codes, scope, and pricing to clients.
Coordinate with inspection, service and operations teams for labour, materials and scheduling.
Prepare and submit deficiency quotations promptly.
Track quotations and assist moving approved work into scheduling.
Maintain strong customer relationships through timely communication.
Clarify technical details with technicians and supervisors to ensure accurate quotes.
Assist with pricing concerns and scope clarifications.
