Job summary

Protect Fire in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area seeks a Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Technician - Inspection & Maintenance for a full-time hybrid role. You will inspect, test, maintain and repair fire alarm and sprinkler systems to ensure safety code compliance.

You will prepare service reports, troubleshoot issues and provide client recommendations to keep systems reliable. A valid driver's license and local travel are required; certification in Fire Protection Technology is preferred.

Qualifications

• Expertise in fire alarm and sprinkler system inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with industry safety codes, regulations, and standards.
• Strong technical skills in electrical, mechanical, or related fields.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in generating detailed service reports and documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
• Certification in Fire Protection Technology or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in fire protection systems or similar industries is an asset.
