Job summary

Vista by Virtus Group is seeking an Accountant to manage financial records for multiple clients and support full-cycle accounting, payroll, and regulatory filings. The role starts in May or September 2027, with a modern, fintech-enabled environment and opportunities to learn from a skilled team.

Ideal candidates will be completing a BBA or Commerce with an accounting major or hold a Diploma in Accounting, and have co-op or internship experience in accounting, thriving in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Business Administration or Commerce with accounting major or a Diploma in Accounting.
• Experience in accounting through co-op or internship is preferred.
• Interest in financial technologies and fintech applications.

Responsibilities

• Completing bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Performing full cycle accounting including general ledger, A/R, A/P, fixed assets, payroll.
• Preparing and filing GST, PST, T4, T5, and ROEs.
• Managing end-to-end payroll process.
• Supporting year-end compliance.
• Completing month-end close.
• Embracing fintech to improve efficiencies.
