Job summary

Our client in Markham is seeking a hands-on Corporate Accountant to join the finance team, supporting multiple entities with full-cycle accounting, month-end close, forecasting, and investment reporting.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage intercompany transactions, consolidations and HST reporting, leveraging advanced Excel and BI tools to provide insightful analyses and drive process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with strong financial reporting.
• CPA or in progress is required or preferred.
• Degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (Sage/Accpac).
• Experience with multi-entity transactions and consolidations.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle accounting and month-end close for multiple entities.
• Journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting.
