Job summary

Recruiting In Motion - Eastern Ontario in Vaughan is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting and financial reporting. This hands-on role requires ownership of the accounting function and close collaboration with management.

You will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements, perform reconciliations, maintain the general ledger, and support budgeting, forecasting and audits. Strong Canadian accounting experience and advanced Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Extensive experience with Canadian accounting practices.
• Strong full-cycle accounting and financial‑statement preparation experience.
• Hands-on, stand-alone accounting position.
• Strong reconciliation, reporting and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Organized, dependable and able to work independently.
