Job summary

INETCO Systems Ltd. in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a hands-on accountant to own day-to-day accounting within our collaborative finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the day-to-day function and wants to grow with a fast-growing fintech.

You’ll support month-end close, prepare monthly statements, AP, invoicing, GST/PST returns, audits and ad hoc reporting as the company scales, while staying organized and detail-oriented in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• Diploma or equivalent in accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, processes and controls.
• Proficiency with QBO, Word and Excel (SharePoint, Plooto and Salesforce experience is a plus).
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Process accounts payable payments.
• Prepare and process customer invoices and apply incoming payments.
• Provide maintenance and reconciliation of accounts.
• Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Prepare and file GST/PST returns.
• Support audits, financial reviews and ad hoc reporting requests.
• Contribute to special projects and process improvements as needed.
