Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a Fine Dining Server to represent our hospitality standard in Banff National Park. You will guide guests through wine, beverage and dining selections with warmth and precision, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

The role involves operating in a luxury setting, requiring attention to detail, robust knowledge of wine and cocktails, and flexibility to work holidays, weekends and overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Formal wine education or certification (WSET, Level 2 or equivalent) is considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and classic cocktails.
• Previous experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality is an asset.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a polished, professional presentation.
• Alberta ProServe certification.
• Knowledge of formal dining service, including proper sequence of service is preferred.
• Passion for food and wine, and creating elevated dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guests' needs while providing information on food and beverage selections.
• Take orders and deliver food and beverage items in a prompt and professional manner.
• Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage items to assist guests with menu selections.
• Enhance revenue flow through suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain accurate guest checks, handle cash, deposits, and balance cash sales at shift end.

Job Description

As a Fine Dining Server with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our dining experience. Your warm, personal attention and knowledge of our outstanding food and beverage offerings makes guests of our restaurants and lounges feel unique and valued.

Job Duties Include
