Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking dedicated Stewards to support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in Banff National Park. The role offers a pay rate of $20.45/hour with a comprehensive benefits package and subsidized on-site staff accommodation.

We value self-motivation, strong communication, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or food and beverage in a fast-paced environment is an asset.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Physically able to lift 20-30 lbs and perform demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Providing clean dishes, cutlery, baking & buffet equipment.
• Operating industrial grade cleaning machinery and tools.
• Upkeep of clean and sanitary conditions in dishwashing areas and kitchen spaces.
• Assisting with culinary prep duties and supporting CDP, Sous, and Executive Chefs.
• General cleaning including mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, cleansing, polishing.

Job Description

Our team is looking for dedicated and hardworking Stewards to support our kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency. If you have a strong work ethic, enjoy working behind the scenes, and take pride in keeping things spotless, we’d love to have you on our team!

Pay Rate: $20.45/hour

Job Duties Include

• Providing clean dishes, cutlery, baking & buffet equipment
• Operating industrial grade cleaning machinery and tools
• Upkeep clean and sanitary conditions of dishwashing areas and relative kitchen spaces
• Assisting with culinary prep duties and adhering to requests by culinary CDP, Sous, and Executive Chefs
• General cleaning - mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, cleansing, polishing
• Lifting 20-30 lbs

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or food and beverage experience in a fast paced environment is an asset, but not required
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
• Physically able to carry out the demands of the position including pushing, pulling, bending, heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
