Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a Host to warmly greet guests, coordinate seating, and help create a memorable dining experience from arrival to departure. You’ll manage seating, handle special requests, and collaborate with servers to maintain smooth service and safety standards.

This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $19.94 and the chance to work in a stunning Banff National Park setting with comprehensive benefits, staff meals, and on-site accommodation

Qualifications

• 6 months minimum food and beverage experience.
• Physically fit to lift trays, stand and walk for shifts.
• Proficient with POS systems OpenTable and Silverware.

• Obtain dining information from guests, such as dietary requirements or special occasions.
• Coordinate the dining room's seating arrangements by planning ahead and anticipating fluctuations in business.

Job Description

Join our team as a Host at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and be the welcoming face of our dining experience. Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests, ensuring their visit is memorable from start to finish. In this role, you'll coordinate seating, assist with special requests, and maintain a smooth and efficient flow in the restaurant, all while upholding the highest standards of service and safety.

Job Duties Include:

• Provide warm greeting and welcome all guests to the restaurant
• Obtain dining information from guests, such as dietary requirements or special occasions
• Coordinate the dining room's seating arrangements by planning ahead and anticipating fluctuations in business
• Seat guests in an organized fashion to maintain service flows for the Servers

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months food and beverage experience
• Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shift
• Proficient with POS systems (OpenTable & Silverware)
