Job summary

Wood Automotive Group is seeking a Finance Manager at Taza Park Volkswagen Dealership in Calgary. The role focuses on after-sale financing with financial institutions and managing credit for customers.

The Finance Manager will coordinate with lenders, protect margins, and drive additional income through credit-related products. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of automotive finance experience, strong knowledge of financing options, and exceptional customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in automotive finance and sales.
• Strong automotive and finance knowledge with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Protect gross profit by arranging financing to maintain selling margins.
• Generate additional income through sale of credit insurance, vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage and maintenance plans.
• Handle all paperwork for vehicle sales including signatures, payoff and insurance details.
• Provide customers with clear explanations of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
• Train sales staff on financing, insurance and extended service programs.

About the Role:

The Finance Manager will be responsible for after product sales and working with financial institutions to secure customer credit.

Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

• Protects gross profit by arranging financing so outside sources do not have an impact on selling margins.
• Generates additional income through the sales of credit insurance, vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage and maintenance plans.
• Responsible for all paperwork involved with the sale of the vehicle, including obtaining customer signatures and securing payoff and insurance information.
• Provides customers with complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
• Trains the sales staff regarding the benefits of financing, insurance and extended service programs.

The ideal candidate will have strong automotive and finance knowledge, as well as excellent customer service skills. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as an Automotive Finance Manager.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years' experience in automotive finance and sales
