Wood Automotive Group’s South Centre Volkswagen in Calgary is seeking a Delivery Coordinator to optimize the vehicle delivery process and collaborate with the business office, sales, service, and detail teams. You will ensure timely handovers and provide clear updates to customers throughout the delivery cycle.

The role emphasizes teamwork, process improvement, and customer satisfaction, with opportunities to recommend accessories and grow sales within a growing automotive group.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery process of all vehicles in collaboration with the business office, sales, service and detail departments.
• Act as a liaison between Parts, Service and Sales to ensure clear time frames and responsibilities for deliveries.
• Provide follow-up contact as required and monitor delivery status with timely updates and sign-offs.
• Solicit and forward feedback on the delivery process to involved parties and identify business opportunities.
• Provide reports and updates on delivery status of all vehicles and ensure customer satisfaction during handover.
• Research new accessory products and advise customers on appropriate accessories at the time of sale.
• Seek out additional business opportunities and sales opportunities related to delivery.

Job description

The Wood Automotive Group, one of Alberta's largest automobile retailers for over 40 years, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Coordinator to join the South Centre Volkswagen dealership!

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work closely with the business office, sales team, service department, and detail department to manage the delivery process of all vehicles
• Act as a liaison between Parts, Service and Sales to ensure all departments understand time frames and responsibility related to the delivery process and meeting delivery times
• Providing any follow-up contact that may be required
• Solicit and forward feedback on delivery process to all parties involved
• Provide reports and updates on the delivery status of all vehicles, ensuring proper sign-off has been obtained, and customer is satisfied
• Research new and innovative accessory products
• At the time of sale, recommend and advise accessories to customers that are appropriate for their vehicle
• Seek out business opportunities and all sales opportunities
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid AB driver’s license
