Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking a Financial Administrative Assistant to support the finance department by processing invoices, managing accounts payable/receivable, and preparing financial documentation. This role screens financial data for accuracy and helps with budgeting and payroll activities.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of administrative or accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Financial Administrative Assistant provides administrative and financial support to ensure the efficient operation of the finance department. This role is responsible for maintaining financial records, processing invoices, supporting accounts payable and receivable functions, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and payroll activities.

  • Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
  • Prepare deposits and maintain accurate financial documentation.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial processes.

Administrative Support
