Green Cat Renewables Canada Corporation is seeking a part-time Finance Assistant in Calgary. This role involves supporting financial operations, assisting with financial reporting, and providing office support. Green Cat Renewables is an engineering consultancy that provides comprehensive development support for renewable energy generation and storage projects across Europe and North America. With offices in Canada and the United Kingdom, our multidisciplinary team includes engineers, specialist consultants, technicians, project managers, site managers, and technical experts.
We are currently seeking a part-time Finance Assistant to work from 8am to 5pm, Tuesday to Thursday. The position is office-based at our downtown Calgary office and reports to the Finance Manager.

Your Role
Finance
-Support financial operations including data entry in project and accounting software, invoicing, expense tracking, accounts payable and receivable.
-Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports and analysis.
-Provide back-up support to the Finance Manager as needed.
Office Support
-Coordinate onboarding and ongoing relationship management for vendors and clients.
-Support company directors as required.
-Maintain training records for employees and schedule training.
-Provide back-up support for the Admin Assistant, including document formatting, data entry, and general office coordination.
Qualifications
-Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
-Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
-Strong IT literacy – Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and QuickBooks.
-Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
-Highly organized and efficient.
-Flexible and adaptable, able to handle shifting priorities.
-Well-presented and professional.
-Quick learner and collaborative team player.
-Ability to remain calm under pressure.
-Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
