Qualifications

• Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong financial skills to support Financial Accounting or Accounts Payable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Dynamics AX is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
• Prepare reports for both operational sites as well as Head Office.
• Assist with standardization and streamlining of systems to gather, analyze, interpret and report financial data.
• Prepare financial transactions in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Assist with timely completion of month-end close reporting.
• Prepare account reconciliations.
• Assist with quarterly and annual financial, audit and tax reporting requirements.
• Create and evaluate innovative ideas to improve business processes.
