Job summary

Moneris is seeking a Field Service Technician in Toronto to install, troubleshoot and service a range of electronic equipment at merchant sites. The role involves on-site work, testing, and occasional cabling or software updates.

You will need a post-secondary certificate in electronics or IT, a valid Ontario driver’s license, and at least 2 years in a technical, client-facing role. Moneris offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Post-secondary certificate in electronics, information technology or related field or equivalent experience.
Valid Ontario driver’s license.
Minimum 2 years in a technical, client-facing role.
Experience testing and solving issues related to computing, networks or POS terminals.
Knowledge of computers, networking concepts, internet usage, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and service electronic equipment and peripherals at merchant sites.
Analyze problems and provide corrective actions to ensure merchant satisfaction.
Install and upgrade POS terminals, computers, printers, and related systems.
Maintain relationships with merchants and demonstrate professionalism on site.
Ensure tools, equipment, and company vehicle are properly maintained.
