Job description

ChampionX has an immediate need for a Field Service Technician at Oil Lift Technology Inc. located in Slave Lake, AB. This is your opportunity to join a growing company offering a competitive base salary and benefits.

What You Will Do:

• Conduct field service calls as required
• Provide professional and timely service
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and rebuild Oil Lift PCP drives and related equipment
• Assist in troubleshooting and failure analysis
• Perform component testing
• Complete field service reports
• Maintain and repair equipment, tools, and company vehicles

Position Details:

• Work on customer sites, including remote locations
• Permanent, full-time position
• Mainly day shifts, with overtime as needed
• Potential weekend or night shifts depending on business needs

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly and service
• Experience with machinery and power tools
• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, auditory, and background checks
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours per day

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to read blueprints
