MISSION

Reporting to the Business Line Manager - Aftermarket, this role will work with our existing team to manage the service and aftermarket business in the territory. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, emergency servicing, on-call telephone support, prospecting new business, and creating quotations on Medical Supply Systems and control panels at customer locations such as hospitals and laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Service Medical Gas Supply Equipment & Systems
• Investigate malfunctions during call-out visits
• Support parts ordering and repairs
• Maintain and repair Medical Gas Systems
• Document service activities and recommendations
• Perform Preventative Maintenance and support system start-ups
• Conduct customer training and provide start-up documentation
• Support sales of spare parts and maintenance contracts
• Participate in on-call emergency support
• Complete service reports using company software
• Maintain service vehicle and tools safely
• Support scheduling to optimize technician utilization
• Submit timesheets and expenses timely
• Adhere to safety and quality standards

Location & Travel

• Remote dispatch from home to customer sites
• Travel within Canada as needed
• Regular travel to HQ in Cambridge, Ontario

Qualifications

• OSSD
• 1-2 years’ experience in mechanical/electrical servicing
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Vulnerable Sector Police Check

Requirements

Must have a positive attitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to manage customer relationships. Flexibility in work hours and travel is essential due to the critical nature of the work involving life-sustaining gases. Work hours are typically 7:30-4:00, Monday to Friday, with overtime and long days as needed.

Knowledge & Skills

• Sound diagnostic and repair skills for electrical and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of electrical control circuits and medical gas standards
• Proficient with tools, test equipment, and MS Office
• Bilingual in English & French is an asset

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and in hospital settings
