Job summary

OPTEL is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install and commission OPTEL systems at client sites, ensuring quality and performance. The role includes maintenance, training, and on-site support to guarantee customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Travel to client locations is required, with strong emphasis on problem-solving and client orientation. The incumbent will collaborate with support teams, document installation reports, and seek opportunities for additional system benefits while upholding

Qualifications

College diploma or equivalent experience in electronics, computer science, electromechanics, or related field.
Strong knowledge in computer science and electronics.
Experience in pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetics industries is asset.
Hands-on diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electromechanical/electronic equipment.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Install OPTEL systems at client sites according to established standards.
Perform commissioning, training, and handover with customers on site.
Provide maintenance, repairs, and service reports for installed systems.
Travel to client sites (approximately three weeks per month) and support field operations.
Identify potential sales opportunities and contribute to customer satisfaction.
