Qualifications

• Experience in OTDR testing and fiber optic splicing.
• Familiar with ISP/OSP network infrastructure and documentation.
• Proficiency with MS Excel/Word/Visio and ability to generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OTDR testing to diagnose defects in large data centre links.
• Identify fiber count, location, and damage using OTDR equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic links at customer sites.
• Operate OTDR machines (EXFO/JDSU) and document results.
• Perform fiber splicing and testing to ensure network integrity.
• Work with both Inside Plant and Outside Plant infrastructures.
• Interpret OTDR traces and return-time calculations for issues.
• Create detailed test reports and maintain documentation.
• Assist customers with installation and on-site training.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards for fiber testing.
