Job summary

OPAL-RT Technologies is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our Essential Support team in Montreal. You will perform commissioning, integration, and training for our real-time simulation products at customer sites and remotely.

85% of work will be in Montreal with ~15% travel to clients, including in the United States. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, have 1–2 years of relevant experience, and bring strong knowledge of electric power systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience recommended.
• Strong fundamentals in electric power systems are essential.
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for OPAL-RT electronic products and software.
• Perform commissioning, integration, and client training.
• Conduct product integration at customer sites and internal testing.
• Assist external customers (manufacturers, engineering firms, utilities) in using the solutions.
