Job summary

Deveraux Group of Companies is hiring a Field Support Technician to maintain our in‑house smart access control platform across Calgary and Edmonton, with occasional travel to Toronto. The role reports to the ResiLync team and involves field triage, issue documentation, and hands‑on device programming.

You will coordinate with software developers, property management staff, and vendors to keep systems running and secure, including rollouts and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Information Technology, Network or Computer Systems Technology (or related field).
• 2–4 years in field technical support or access control roles preferred.
• Experience diagnosing on-site network issues (switches, routers, PoE, cabling).
• Experience administering or supporting mobile apps or cloud-based SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first contact for on-site access control, hardware, and network issues across Calgary/Edmonton portfolios.
• Triage and resolve issues in the field, escalate with clear documentation when needed.
• Diagnose basic network problems on site (switches, routers, PoE, cabling).
• Monitor support channels and answer staff questions.
• Log, track, and report every issue to resolution.
• Provide regular status updates to the ResiLync team.
