Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) in Alberta is seeking a Facility Assistant I to support grain movement and sampling and to contribute to daily operations of the grain facility. You will collect and test grain samples, handle and deliver crop input products, maintain the facility, and uphold safety and compliance.

We value experience in general labour, customer service, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a flexible schedule in all weather.

Qualifications

• Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming.
• Experience working in a customer service role is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.).
• Must be able to work in environments subject to dust and allergens.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions.

Your Team

Grain & Crop Inputs: The Grain & Crop Inputs Division connects Canadian farmers to markets across the country and beyond. With a network of grain elevators, terminals, and agri-retail locations, we provide crop inputs, agronomic solutions, and grain marketing expertise to help producers succeed.

As a Facility Assistant I, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the required duties involved in the movement and sampling of grain, and the overall execution of processes involved in the operations of the grain facility.
