Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) is seeking a Facility Assistant I for our grain facility in Parrish Siding, SK. You will assist with movement and sampling of grain and support overall facility operations.

Ideal candidates have general labour experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work in all weather conditions. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, dust exposure, and a flexible schedule at our grain division location.

Qualifications

• Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture or farming.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Able to work in environments with dust and allergens.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Collect and test grain samples.
• Handle and deliver crop input products.
• Perform regular facility maintenance and housekeeping.

Your Team

Grain & Crop Inputs: The Grain & Crop Inputs Division connects Canadian farmers to markets across the country and beyond. With a network of grain elevators, terminals, and agri-retail locations, we provide crop inputs, agronomic solutions, and grain marketing expertise to help producers succeed.

As a Facility Assistant I, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the required duties involved in the movement and sampling of grain, and the overall execution of processes involved in the operations of the grain facility.

Day to Day

• Collecting and testing grain samples
• Handling and delivering crop input products
• Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment

What You’ll Bring

• Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming
• Experience working in a customer service role is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.)
• Must be able to work in environments subject to dust and allergens
• Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions
