Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) is seeking a Facility Assistant to support grain inputs operations and warehouse tasks in a farm-friendly environment.

The role requires general labour experience in agriculture, a Class 5 license, and experience with warehouse equipment such as a forklift. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in dusty conditions, and adapt to all weather.

Qualifications

• Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming.
• Class 5 driver’s license.
• Experience using a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.).
• Must be able to work in environments subject to dust and allergens.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions.

• Handling, unloading and delivering crop inputs products
• Assisting in warehouse operations: sorting seed, stacking chemicals, transferring bulk product into totes
• Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping

Your Team

Grain & Crop Inputs: The Grain & Crop Inputs Division connects Canadian farmers to markets across the country and beyond. With a network of grain elevators, terminals, and agri-retail locations, we provide crop inputs, agronomic solutions, and grain marketing expertise to help producers succeed.

As a Facility Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the required duties involved in the operations of the facility.
