Job summary

Black & McDonald Limited Saskatchewan is seeking a Project Coordinator for Facilities Management & Operations to support the Contract Managers in achieving project objectives. Qualifications

• Engineering degree or technical diploma required.
• 2-3 years' experience in a junior project coordinator role.
• Basic knowledge of the construction industry.
• Scheduling programs experience is an asset.
• Willing and able to travel within the province.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliability Status security clearance will be a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Contract Manager(s) to ensure project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards are met.
• Comply with all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones; monitor progress against timelines.
• Assist in preparing contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Assist in budget analysis, cost and margin projections; estimate project changes and impacts.
• Build and maintain customer and supplier/vendor relationships.
• Prepare monthly reports and issue progress schedules to clients.
• Coordinate trades and subcontractors.
• Document control duties and sourcing supplies/materials as required.
• Source subcontractors as required by the client.
