Job summary

Government of Alberta – Infrastructure Ministry is seeking a Facilities Coordinator in Calgary to oversee operation and maintenance of a building portfolio, supervise staff, and administer TPM, leases, and related agreements.

The successful candidate will lead service delivery, coordinate with clients, contractors, and ministries, and ensure safe, cost-effective and compliant facilities in line with government policies.

Qualifications

  • Two-year technical Diploma in a related field.
  • Six years related experience.
  • Ability to work in a politically sensitive environment and maintain neutrality.

Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate events within government facilities and liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
  • Oversee resources and programs to maintain asset value and ensure safe, cost-effective operation.
  • Coordinate delivery of maintenance and tenant improvement projects to enhance asset value while ensuring compliance.
  • Provide leadership to deliver high quality operations and maintenance services for the portfolio.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate operations and maintenance services including project delivery to maintain asset value.
