Duties
- Oversee daily facility operations and maintenance activities to ensure optimal functionality.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and manage maintenance schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to assist in facility repairs and modifications.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized services or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Assist in the fabrication of components or systems as needed.
- Manage projects related to facility improvements or upgrades, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Provide support in training staff on safety protocols and proper equipment usage.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems using tools such as voltmeters.
- Familiarity with project management principles to effectively oversee facility projects from inception to completion.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.
- Experience in maintaining HVAC systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals.
