Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Facilities Coordinator. They will be responsible for ensuring the safety, maintenance, and efficiency of FLINT’s district office locations and surrounding yard areas, focusing on the Port Moody and surrounding facilities. This role involves managing vendor relationships, coordinating maintenance, and overseeing equipment and facility systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. The Facilities Coordinator contributes to FLINT's operational efficiency by maintaining pristine facilities and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and lease obligations.
What would you be doing?
- Facility Operations & Maintenance: Implement best practices across all locations, oversee repairs, renovations, and routine/preventative maintenance, ensuring quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Procurement & Logistics: Identify and procure equipment and supplies for new buildings, manage office services and supplies, and coordinate deliveries and shipments.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure maintenance activities align with health, safety regulations, and lease obligations; address safety concerns promptly and test building security systems regularly.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the central contact for facility concerns, liaise with vendors and property managers, and travel between sites to maintain consistency and excellence.

Qualifications
- 3–5 years in facilities management or a related field; post-secondary education in Facility or Construction Management is an asset.
- Strong understanding of building systems and maintenance; proficient in Microsoft Office tools including SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent multitasking, communication, and organizational abilities; capable of working independently or within a team.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel regularly across FLINT locations, including remote areas; physically able to perform maintenance tasks and inspections.
- May require occasional evening/weekend work for urgent issues; safety-sensitive role requiring drug and alcohol testing.
