Specsavers in Kamloops is seeking a part-time Retail Associate (Eyecare Consultant) to deliver exceptional eye care and affordable eyewear. You’ll guide customers through frame collections, support first-time contact lens users, and receive full training—no optical experience required.

Qualifications

• Availability to work evenings and weekends is required.
• Retail or customer service experience is an asset but not essential.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly, creating a friendly and approachable environment in the store.
• Build strong connections by understanding customers’ needs and recommending eyecare solutions.
• Guide customers in selecting frames that suit their lenses and personal style.
• Explain offers, products, and services clearly to ensure informed choices.
• Perform pre-screening tests such as retinal imaging, pressure checks, and visual field testing (full training provided).
• Measure and adjust frames for a comfortable and precise fit.
• Process orders for prescription glasses and contact lenses accurately and efficiently.
• Schedule follow-up appointments to maintain excellent customer care.
• Act as an ambassador for Specsavers, championing our values in every interaction.
