Specsavers Canada is seeking a Retail Associate (Eyecare Consultants) to welcome customers, guide frame choices, and support contact lens trials at our Edmonton location. No prior optical experience is required as full training is provided, with emphasis on delivering an exceptional customer experience and brand values.

The role emphasizes building relationships, educating customers about products, and ensuring accurate order processing while maintaining a welcoming store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Availability to work evenings and weekends is required for this role.
• Experience in retail or customer service is an asset—but not essential.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly, creating a friendly and approachable environment in the store.
• Build strong connections by understanding customers’ needs and recommending eyecare solutions.
• Guide customers in selecting frames that suit lenses and personal style.
• Explain offers, products, and services clearly to ensure informed choices.
• Perform pre-screening tests such as retinal imaging and pressure checks (full training provided).
• Measure and adjust frames for a precise fit.
• Process orders for prescription glasses and contact lenses accurately.
