Job summary

FYidoctors Pickering clinic is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to deliver exceptional patient service, manage check-in/out, and support eye care teams in a fast-paced setting. You will greet patients, coordinate appointments, handle billing, perform basic eyewear adjustments, and contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic culture.

The role is full-time, 30-40 hours weekly, with Monday through Saturday operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or front-desk roles preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, manage check-in/out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required
