FYidoctors Pickering clinic, part of the FYihealth Group, seeks a Patient Services Specialist to deliver exceptional service and support in a team-driven environment. This full-time role features 30-40 hours per week and a competitive hourly wage.

The position involves greeting patients, managing check-in/out, assisting with pre-testing, coordinating appointments, handling billing, and supporting clinic operations to ensure an outstanding patient experience.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is an asset.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

Our FYidoctors Pickering clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a full-time role working30-40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
