Experienced Shinglers & Roofing Labourers

EMPLOYER: MZ Roofing

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MZ Roofing is a small, family-owned business providing residential asphalt roofing services within and around the Ottawa-area. We would love to have you as a part of our team!

We are hiring 2 full-time shinglers and 1 full-time labourer to work through the roofing season

(now until December 2022; restarting March 2023).

WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO:

• Are skilled shinglers or have a commitment to learning the trade
• Can handle work in heat and at heights (up to 3 stories; on slopes)
• Are reliable and able to work on-call based on weather conditions
• Can work well within a team
• Applicants with vehicles, tools, and heights training will be prioritized

WHAT WE OFFER:

• On-the-job-training in shingling
• A competitive wage: labourers start at $20/hr. and shinglers at $28-$55/hr. depending on experience & performance
• Opportunities for monthly $1 performance-based raises
