Hôtel Mont Gabriel, a Tribute Portfolio property, seeks a Director of Food and Beverage to oversee restaurant and kitchen operations at Sainte-Adèle, QC. You will lead the team, optimize service quality, and drive profitability in a full-time role.

The role requires bilingual French-English communication, strong HR leadership, and expertise in menus, service standards, and cost control. Travel within the hotel group and industry partners is possible.

Qualifications

• Proven HR management and team leadership experience in hospitality/fine dining.
• Bilingual French-English required for international clients.
• Strong sales, marketing, negotiation and customer service aptitude.
• Solid understanding of health and safety standards in food and beverage environments.
• Proficient in basic computer systems used in hospitality operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all restaurant operations, including room service, banquet, and bar operations.
• Develop and implement restaurant policies to ensure high standards of quality and service.
• Train and manage a team of food and beverage staff (chefs, servers, sommeliers, mixologists).
• Control budgets, food & beverage costs, and labor costs to meet financial goals.
• Collaborate with purchasing to select food and beverage suppliers and negotiate terms.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze F&B performance on sales, costs, and customer satisfaction; drive improvements.
• Develop marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain guests.
