Job summary

Versaterm is seeking an Events Specialist to plan and execute live and virtual events, including industry conferences, workshops, symposiums, and internal meetings. This role supports the full lifecycle of event management—from pre-event planning and logistics to post-event evaluation and reporting.

The ideal candidate will coordinate internal and external events, manage registrations, handle vendor relationships, and ensure smooth execution while aligning with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in event coordination or administrative support.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; event management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Event Planning & Execution: Assist with planning and coordinating live and virtual events including venue selection, scheduling, logistics, on-site/online support.
• Industry Engagement: Support presence at external industry events, including registration, booth coordination, and materials.
• Workshops & Symposiums: Coordinate internal and external educational events aligned with goals.
• Versaterm Team Meetings & Conferences: Manage logistics for company-wide meetings, including speaker coordination and tech setup.
• Vendor Management: Research vendors, maintain contracts, and liaise with partners.
• Registration & Evaluation: Oversee attendee registration and post-event evaluations.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare summaries of event costs and attendee demographics.
• Other duties: Support team objectives and organizational priorities.
