Location: Toronto, ON (remote & on site at events)

About the Role

Strategy Institute is seeking a detail-oriented Event Coordinator to support the planning and execution of multiple conferences and events throughout the year.

This role focuses heavily on speaker management, event administration, event technology, and communications. The successful candidate will be highly organized, professional, and capable of managing numerous moving pieces across several events at once.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for conference speakers
  • Coordinate speaker registration and onboarding
  • Collect, review, and manage speaker presentations and related materials
  • Manage event apps and event technology platforms, including content updates and speaker information
  • Prepare and maintain attendee, speaker, and registration lists
  • Coordinate name badge production and printed event materials
  • Ensure accuracy of all event data and reporting
  • Support event registration and attendee communications
  • Assist the Event Manager and Director with event planning and execution activities
  • Track deadlines and follow up with speakers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain event documentation and project tracking tools
  • Assist in managing multiple conferences simultaneously
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in events, administration, or a related field
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and polished communication style
  • Ability to work effectively with senior executives and conference speakers
  • Comfortable working with event technology and software platforms
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize competing deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
