Job summary

Gold’s Gym British Columbia is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative for evening closing shifts. This role focuses on front-desk hospitality, member check-ins, and delivering outstanding service as the day ends.

You will handle phone, email, and in-person inquiries, process transactions, assist tours and memberships, and support the sales team with a friendly, reliable approach; a valid driver's license or transportation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation or easy commute.
• First Aid certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk operations during evening closing shifts.
• Greet and check in members and guests.
• Deliver customer service across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Direct guests to appropriate staff.
• Support guest check-in and onboarding processes.
• Handle daily cash reconciliation.
• Assist the sales team with guest tours and membership support.
• Support outreach via calls, texts, and emails.
• POS handling and end-of-night close out.
