Job summary

FLOFORM Countertops is seeking a Customer Service Representative / Estimator at our Edmonton branch to join the team. The role involves maintaining price lists, processing orders and quotes, and responding to client inquiries while promoting additional sales.

The Estimator will compile cost estimates for products and services, coordinate with departments, and help maintain relationships with contractors and clients to ensure accurate pricing and timely production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with other relatable education.
• Post secondary education is an asset.
• 2 years estimating blueprints, measurements and take offs.
• 2 years customer service experience in flooring, cabinets, tile, construction.
• Basic computer skills with MS Office and estimating software.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Diplomacy and respect in challenging situations.
• Team-oriented with proactive issue resolution.
• Effective verbal communication and measurement/fracture understanding.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a current price list and informs customer of unit prices, shipping date, delays, and needed information.
• Inputs orders/quotes into the system and confirms product availability.
• Responds to customer inquiries and complaints; coordinates with other departments; escalates when required.
• Establishes proactive communication with customers to ensure understanding of product ordered.
• Responds to on-site inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintains relationships with contractors, clients and sub-contractors.
• Handles pricing, invoicing, credit, payment, and shipping discrepancies.
• Ensures orders are produced on time to meet pickup and delivery schedules.
• May handle warranty and service issues as they arise.
• Other duties as assigned.
