Job summary

FLOFORM Countertops, a Canadian company with a Winnipeg head office, is seeking an In-house Full-Time Customer Service Representative for our Local Winnipeg Branch. You will provide a positive customer experience by qualifying, educating and selling product lines, handling inquiries, processing orders and promoting additional sales.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person, by email or on the telephone.
• Maintain a current price list and inform customers of unit prices, shipping date and delays.
• Process orders and accept payments in person or by phone.
• Input orders/quotes into the computer system and confirm product availability.
• Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with other departments; escalate complaints when needed.
• Assist customers in product selection and maintain customer service records.
• Establish proactive communication to ensure understanding of orders.
• Handle quality and service issues to maintain loyalty.
• Ensure orders are priced accurately and invoices are issued promptly.
• Resolve pricing, invoicing, credit, payment and shipping discrepancies with the appropriate department(s).
• Participate in inventory and keep showroom displays tidy.

Required immediately, our Local Winnipeg Branch is seeking an In-house Full-Time Customer Service Representative to join the team!

FLOFORM Countertops is a Canadian company with its head office in Winnipeg, MB and has 16 branches and 5 manufacturing facilities located in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. Position Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing a positive customer experience by qualifying, educating and selling our products lines as well as responding to general inquiries, processing orders, and promoting additional sales.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• High School Diploma with 1-2 years customer service experience
• Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office products and ability to learn other software programs
• Ability to solve problems as they arise
• Clean criminal record
• Basic mathematical skills
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and respect

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to work in a team sales environment
• Assists customers in person, by email or on the telephone
• Maintains a current price list and informs customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer
• Processes orders and accepts payment from customers made over the telephone or in person
• Inputs orders/quotes into the computer system and confirms availability of product
• Responds to customer inquiries and coordinating activities with other departments as necessary; escalates complaints to supervisor as required.
• Assists customer in the selection of product
• Maintains customer service records
• Establishes proactive communication with customers to ensure understanding of product ordered
• Handles quality and service issues to develop/maintain customer loyalty
• Ensures orders are priced accurately and invoices are issued promptly
• Resolves pricing/invoicing/credit/payment/shipping discrepancies for customer with the appropriate department(s)
• Participate in inventory
• Keeps the showroom clean and sets up displays as needed
• Will also assist with general labour tasks including loading/unloading merchandise, deliveries
• Other duties as assigned
