Job summary

PCL Constructors Canada Inc. in Oakville, Ontario is seeking an Estimating Student for the Solar District. The role runs 4–16 months starting January 2027 and offers hands-on experience on real projects with mentorship and a structured path to full-time opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Understands and utilizes PCL’s estimating manuals, systems and forms.
• Reviews quantity survey assignment with lead estimator or Chief Estimator.
• Performs assigned quantity survey.
• Gives quantities of major purchase items to purchasing department for pricing.
• Performs bid day assignments.
• Develops relationship with subcontractors.
• Other duties as assigned by the Chief Estimator.

The estimated hourly range for this role is $21.37- $31.34, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
