PCL Constructors Canada Inc. is seeking an Engineering Student for the Solar District, available 4–16 months starting January 2027. The role involves supporting design coordination, procurement, and stakeholder communication on active projects.

This internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to PM4+ and Power BI tools. Responsibilities include reviewing documents, maintaining dashboards, and ensuring quality across site operations and warranties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project design and procurement processes.
• Review RFPs, drawings, commissioning plan, and electrical studies.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders using PM4+.
• Ensure project compliance and quality through site OMs and warranty tracking.
• Convert Excel ITPs to PM4+ templates.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for projects.
• Communicate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain strong customer-focused relationships.

We are seeking an Engineering Student, for our Solar District that is available for 4-16 months starting January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with coordinating and managing the project design and procurement process which includes taking detailed meeting minutes and following up on open items.


• Assisting with review of RFP documentation, drawings/diagrams, Commissioning plan and electrical studies for key design requirements.


• Facilitating communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders by utilizing PM4+ to send RFls and submittals.


• Ensuring project compliance and quality through site O&Ms and warranty item tracking


• Streamlining project processes by converting excel inspection test plans into PM4+ ITP templates.


• Supporting project success by developing and maintaining Power Bl Synoptics design dashboards for projects.


• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.


• Developing and maintaining strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

The estimated salary range for this role is $21.37- $31.34, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
