Job summary

Jobgether SRL on behalf of a partner company is seeking a Field Service Technician - Level 1 based in Canada. This entry-level role focuses on installing, calibrating, and maintaining precision metrology equipment, with training provided and travel across Canada.

You will work with CMMs, read drawings, support senior technicians, and progress toward independent service tasks. Remote position with preference for Toronto area; includes structured training and a path to certifications.

Qualifications

College diploma or university degree in electronics or related technical discipline.
Equivalent combination of training and practical experience may be considered.
Experience with industrial electronics, machinery, or computer-controlled systems is preferred.
Knowledge of CMMs, metrology equipment, or industrial instrumentation is an asset.
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems is required.

Responsibilities

Assist with installations, preventive maintenance, calibrations, troubleshooting, repairs, and customer service calls.
Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service documents.
Support senior technicians and complete service activities under supervision.
Document service reports, work orders, and calibration records accurately and on time.
Maintain tools, spare parts, and inventory; travel to customer locations across Canada as required.
