Job summary

Carl Zeiss Canada Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Technician, Level I to install, calibrate, maintain, and repair Coordinate Measuring Machines and metrology equipment across Canada.

You will train under senior technicians, support on-site service at customer locations, and contribute to equipment reliability and service documentation. Ideal candidates have a college diploma or university degree in electronics or related tech, strong Windows skills, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Requires college diploma or university degree in electronics or related technical discipline.
• Equivalent combination of technical training and practical work experience may be considered.
• Experience with industrial electronics, metrology equipment, or computer-controlled systems is an asset and English language proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair Coordinate Measuring Machines and related metrology equipment.
• Support service activities at customer locations across Canada under supervision and training.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and service documents; document work performed.
