Job summary

Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in automation technology or related field.
- Minimum five years in industrial automation, instrumentation, or heavy industry.
- Strong troubleshooting across electrical, instrumentation, networking, and software.
- Experience with technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and engineering docs.
- Willingness to travel extensively; valid driver’s license and passport.
- Bilingual English and French is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, start up, optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain Metso analyzer systems.
- Support sampling, instrumentation, vacuum, and control systems lifecycle.
- Travel to customer sites for planned maintenance, upgrades, and emergency troubleshooting.
- Perform root-cause investigations and technical evaluations.
- Assist integration with PLC, DCS, networking, and industrial communications.
- Provide training and technical support to improve utilization and performance.
- Complete service documentation and installed-base updates in digital platforms.
- Identify opportunities for parts, upgrades, and digital solutions.
