Job summary

PCL Constructors Canada Inc. is seeking an Engineering Student for the Toronto District, working in Trenton, for 4 or 8 months starting January 2027. You will contribute to the team by coordinating drawings, reviewing trades, and supporting field operations on active projects.

The role also involves site measurements, producing as-built drawings, updating deficiency logs, and coordinating with sub-trades. Engineering students with drafting experience are encouraged to apply; compensation is

• Candidates must be pursuing an engineering degree and have an interest in construction.
• Proficiency with common software programs including word processing, spreadsheets, and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating drawings, scope/trade coordination, and reviewing quantities and hours.
• Participating in project meetings and updating deficiency logs.
• Taking and coordinating progress photos, and updating field drawings.
• Producing as-built drawings and performing quantity takeoffs.
• Coordinating and supervising sub-trade work and verifying site conditions.
• Layout site lines and grades using total station and coordinating with drawings.

We are seeking an Engineering Student, for ourToronto District, working inTrenton, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for4 or 8 monthsstarting in January 2027.

As anEngineering Studentyou will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities

• Coordinating drawings,work specific scope / trades,trade quote reviews – verify material quantities, verify hours, verify rates, deficiency walks etc
• Participating in project meetings,
• Inputting / Updating deficiency logs and issuing warranties
• Taking / Coordinating progress photos, and updating field drawings
• Producing as-built drawings
• Performing quantity takeoffs, coordinatingand supervising sub-trade work and
• Verifying site conditions and coordinating with drawings
• Layout site lines and grades using total station
• Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades and updating project schedules

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.

The estimated hourly range for this role is $21.37- $31.33, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
