Role Overview

As an Engineering Project Manager, you will lead and drive projects for Data Theorem, ensuring the timely delivery of new features. You will collaborate closely with leadership and engineering stakeholders on planning and execution. Our products assist thousands of developers and security engineers in discovering, fixing, and preventing security issues, and you will play a key role in driving new features to completion.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and designers to ensure the execution and release of new customer-facing features, keeping stakeholders informed about project status and timelines.
2. Lead and manage projects, removing roadblocks to ensure smooth execution.
3. Coordinate with departments like Engineering, Product Management, Design, and Operations to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
4. Work with Engineering on development processes, ensuring adherence to best practices including agile methodologies.
5. Manage resource allocation to ensure appropriate staffing and effective utilization.
6. Lead daily stand-up meetings and report on progress.
7. Drive project agendas, roadmaps, and discuss customer requests in daily Field-Vision meetings.
8. Schedule engineering tasks for backend, frontend, and design teams.
9. Implement Agile workflows and manage relevant metrics such as velocity, cycle time, and burndown charts.
10. Create and coordinate release management processes, ensuring smooth handoffs between design, backend, and frontend teams.
11. Ensure roadmap items are on track for API Secure, Mobile Secure, Web Secure, and Cloud Secure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, including 4+ years in project management.
• Strong technical background in software development and architecture.
• Experience with agile methodologies and software development principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent collaboration and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate with autonomy and responsibility.
• Understanding of technical project details to drive the technical roadmap.
