Job summary

Paul Davis Ottawa & Lanark is seeking an experienced Crew Chief to join our emergency restoration team in Ottawa, ON. You will lead restoration crews across residential and commercial properties, setting safety and quality standards while ensuring customer satisfaction during the mitigation process.

You will coordinate day-to-day activities, respond to water, fire, and mold events, mentor technicians, and ensure compliance with IICRC standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of restoration/mitigation experience.
• Minimum 2 IICRC certifications or equivalent industry experience.
• Previous leadership or crew-management experience.
• Strong knowledge of restoration equipment, drying processes, and emergency mitigation.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead emergency restoration crews and coordinate day-to-day job-site activities.
• Respond to water, fire, mold, and other emergency losses.
• Serve as a key point of contact for customers throughout the mitigation process.
• Train, mentor, and support technicians and crew members.
• Ensure work meets company, industry, safety, and IICRC standards.
• Complete equipment setup, monitoring, debris removal, site preparation, and other hands-on mitigation work.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, inventory, and job-site cleanliness.
• Document work accurately and communicate job progress to management.
• Help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with an exceptional customer experience.
